We are happy to contribute to Operation Christmas Child, an office holiday tradition we’ve had for several years. Operation Christmas Child is one of the many projects performed by Samaritan’s Purse, a nondenominational Christian organization. Like the Good Samaritan in the famous biblical story, Samaritan’s Purse provides aid to those in need throughout the world.
Operation Christmas Child aims to give gifts to children in need during the holiday season. The premise is simple: fill a shoebox with gifts for the children. The shoeboxes are collected, sorted by volunteers, and shipped to different parts of the world for distribution. This year Gravic, Inc. packed 31 shoeboxes. The shoeboxes were filled with a variety of items including soap, toothbrushes, toys, puzzle books, art supplies, candy, and more. We hope that our donations have made the holidays for these children a little more cheerful.
